Alejandro Imbach is an M&E specialist with emphasis on data management tools and software development; with more than 14 years of experience designing and developing M&E systems from concept to actual implementation. He has also participated and led several mid-term and final projects evaluations combining quantitative and qualitative methods (such as outcome mapping, outcome harvesting and the most significant change among others).

Alejandro holds a masters degree in programme and project evaluation which allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of evaluation theory and the skills to design practical evaluative solutions for complex systems in a variety of subjects (sustainable development, environmental issues, women’s rights, prevention of armed conflict). Alejandro also works on combining M&E principles with IT tools to design and implement information support systems for project management and M&E purposes (online databases, mobile solutions, desktop applications for performance and outcomes monitoring, biological monitoring, timesheets tracking, outcome harvesting among others).
